Fire in a local apartment
This is a fire that took place in a local apartment. The lightning struck on the ceiling of the apartment complex and traveled down throughout the building. When lightning strikes a house, the electricity often travels through a home’s wiring or plumbing system trying to find the quickest way to the ground. The most common place for a fire to ignite is in the attic. Typically, a lightning bolt comes through the roof or top of the house, building or apartment. Any part of the building is available for the lightning to travel down. Most houses are filled with potential paths for the lightning to complete its journey.
