Water damage from Texas storm

SERVPRO has been busier than usual this past month! Hurricane Harvey hit southern Texas and a small portion of Louisiana. Our SERVPRO team headed down to Houston, the most populated city in the affected area, to help. Due to the amount of rain and flooding in the southern region of the U.S. there was considerable water damage. In these pictures shown, it appears that just by stepping on the carpet in this person’s home, water was rising to the surface. Just a little bit of weight on the carpet would cause it to soak with water. SERVPRO always responds as quickly as possible to situations like this to prevent further damage. Here, SERVPRO stripped the carpet from the floor and dried all affected areas.
